This hotel is the absolute perfect location if you are visiting Berlin especially for the first time. It is at a walking distance from all the landmarks, big museums, and nice restaurants and cafes. The first room we got was a bit small and could get some refresh, the AC wasn’t working so we got a new room in the newly renovated section of the hotel that is hard to get to, but very pleasant and nicely decorated. The hotel doesn’t have phone or conference rooms if you were to get on a work meeting or take a private call. The gym was under renovation during our stay as well. Additionally, we had to pay a daily fee for a crib for our daughter who is under 2 which I found very unusual.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly, and the room was quiet and comfortable.
Absolutely fantastic hotel, my partner & I arrived late evening to be greeted by Oscar who made the whole experience a breeze.
He really helped us out when we asked about local events & even gave us his recommendations for the best experiences, nothing was ever any trouble, this guy deserves a raise & you should be proud to have him on your team.
The hotel itself is very modern but is also within walking distance of the various shopping centres & Christmas markets.
We are both planning on visiting again in the near future.
It all starts with the staff. The professional and friendly manner which they assist you the entire time makes it a joy to work with them. The close connection to public hubs of transport make this an ideal location if you need to get around the town without a car. They are very close to restaurants, coffee shops and bars so you have a number of options in your easy walking distance. The proximity of this hotel to the touristic center of the town makes this place an ease choice for those who like to walk a bit. Oh and you might want to check out that little bar they have, a nice touch
Room was small but sensibly compact, bathroom was immaculate and clean with flawless housekeeping. Not sure why they didn’t replace the water bottle daily though 🤔 Front desk were helpful at times and rather abrupt at other times but the cafe staff were kind, caring and helpful. Location was super close to everything including local yoga studios, museum island and transport hubs. Found it easy to walk to and from everything.
I liked staying at this hotel. But a few negative points at first, the day and evening receptions were not warm and good-natured people. The entrance doors of the room were very strong and could be damaged when closed. Our room was in the attic and it was cold, but the room temperature regulator was not controlled by us (it was very ridiculous). After a cold night, we told the reception and she increased the temperature. One night, the electricity was cut off, and the elevators were not working until the next day, and we had to take the stairs to reach the 5th floor. Positive points: Excellent location. Good breakfast buffet (but the menu was repetitive every day), warm and beautiful lobby, night reception was very polite.
Nice hotel lobby, friendly staff and well located. Staff allowed me to check-in a little earlier than 2pm, which was much appreciated.
Probably wouldn't stay here again due to two things: elevators are way too slow and need upgrading, felt like I spent half my stay just waiting for the elevator. I can't imagine how chaotic it is when the hotel is busy.
Second reason, the hairdryer was barely functional. I have shoulder length hair, that isn't hugely thick or difficult to dry and ten mins of drying was getting me nowhere. I went to reception (should have called, the elevator was so slow) and they promptly provided me with a hairdryer, delivered to my room. Was late checking out because of this.
Overall, price vs quality wasn't matching for me.
Very disappointed:/ During record snow fall in Germany shutting down flights/trains so we couldn't even get to the hotel management refused to refund or even credit us for a future stay. We had pre-paid for the room and when we asked to cancel the canceling fee was the price we paid:( We would absolutely come back if the management would take care of us.
The single rooms we got were small but that was no biggie. They were pretty good for the price. The common areas in the hotel were gorgeous. The staff were amazingly welcoming and friendly and the location is beautiful. Right next to a gorgeous park, near loads of great bars and restaurants, and very close to Museum Island. Had an amazing time overall.
